I have a strong feeling that this is going to sow the same seeds of mistrust that I saw giving rise to altfurry back in 2016. Stay vigilant against racism, transphobia, ableism, or any form of oppressive bigotry taking root in your communities, but also be aware of when you are operating under paranoia.

After all, the strongest antidote against the kind of culture that facilitates fascism in any form is forming meaningful familial-like bonds with each other, and to do so, you need to build trust in one another. Just like how vines grows and wedges into gaps in the loose bricks, so does fascism grow within the gaps between us all and keeps us alienated from one another.
