It's not white-washing to tell you that your race does not shield you from your toxicity, that's what I meant by the Gamergate comparison, because this does invoke memories of NotYourShield, a mass-tokenzing project to whitewash its own image from accusations of misogyny and various toxicity.

Much like how you're using the ethnicity of the serial harasser you're defending, as a shield to whitewash his actions, and your historical enablement of anti-black sentiments towards folks like PlayVicious members.

You can spin tales of your own virtue all you want, that will not make the receipts and records of your own toxic behaviour go away.

PS: Your disdain for Masto essays is an anti-intellectual red flag. You may want to read a certain Umberto Eco book on why this is wrong.

In any case, the main point is, I don't care what ethnicity you are, toxicity is toxicity, and if your toxicity matches the abuse patterns of white settler colonialism, I will call it as such.

Whiteness isn't a skin colour, it's how your world view is formed around it, and associated settler colonialist attitudes that spawned from it. Nobody is immune to being white, I am a Fillipina/Hispanic Nonbinary Plural Fae Therian/Otherkin, and 3 years ago, I was white af because of the toxic colonialist-centric beliefs I used to hold.

It really isn't that hard of a concept to grasp.

And if you have to go out of your way to talk about how good of a person you are, chances are that you aren't.
