Well today has been exhausting & pretty trying. Dealing with toxic people triggering unpleasant flashbacks to past abusive patterns & my abusive ghoul of a late mother, and remembering the painful loss of Snouts and PV. On top of that, dealing with an ear infection.
But I realized something, this hard experience is something most BIPOC folk go through most every day. The fact that this is an anomalous experience is a clear sign of privilege that I enjoy as NBPOC

People don't understand that racism isn't a singular evil, it takes many forms, and anyone could be perps.
Also whiteness isn't a race, it's a received collective identity that is also exclusionary and arbitrary in who gets to be a part of it.
And sadly colour, not ethnicity, plays a big part of it.
