we should really talk more about how the concept of happiness and finding happiness is terrifying for anyone that's dealing with long standing depression, anxiety, body/ facial dysmorphia, gender dysphoria, etc.. just anything we deal with that has forced us to acclimate to misery as a daily part of life.
like, its not enough to stop at, "I don't think I can ever achieve __" and needs to expand into, "I am actively avoiding __ because I don't know who I am outside of this constant state/ because I don't know how to be happy/ because what if I mess up and lose it all" etc etc etc
