whinging about work training
Yet another mandatory "training" course at work that comprises videos and robot voices reading slides at me.
I can read several times faster than this, and when reading, skim material that I already know well. But in making it video-only, I'm forced to sit here for however long the videos play.
Grrrr.

WTF. Now the lid-locked viewers like me are forced to watch a video wherein something goes wrong, a parade of black, brown, and female folks point fingers and ask what went wrong, and the palest person in the room, male, of course, turns out to be the person who was right all along that nobody listened to.
This, from an organization whose chief of diversity, equity, and inclusion says we are "crushing it."
