Goddamn, if they're already splitting hairs over platforming anti-trans voices, their site really is speedrunning the downfall of Twitter.
Trust and Safety my ass. The whole reason people are there is because Twitter chose to platform nazis and became a nazi bar. You don't immediately screw this up by equivocating about personal responsibility and block tools. You ban the nazis so they don't get a foothold in the first place.

@Goldkin I haven't been keeping up too deeply, but that I'm still hearing about it suggests the staff are still digging their heels in and that kinda blows.

@Goldkin Frankly BS already got me stinkeye for the Racism Toggle, they basically decided to have (rather good!) filtering tools over actual moderation standards.
And now, when met with a major bad actor, they think their existing systems are going to be enough. Frankly I'd almost think they sincerely don't know how bad those people are.
