I bought a window fan! Because even with my desktop off and the heater damper to the room fully closed it can hit 75+ in my bedroom. With the PC on? 80+. So yeah, window fan was an absolute necessity if I didn't want to roast in my sleep. It's got independently operating motors too, so I can blow in, vent out, or exchange. Venting seems to be good at maintaining around 70 on a cool day. Blowing in cools the room even further! Does cause some minor pressure issues though.
At least I think they're just minor when I'm not running them in opposite directions. Not sure if exhausting would be problematic with the furnace air return, potentially sucking air in through that. Anyway, they're kind of loud, especially when used with my blower fan that just blows air onto my bed. But I sleep so damn well when they're running. No joke. It's just white noise for me, and I can tune it out easily. Probably thanks to my ADHD
