@vahnj I wish! It's one of my frustrations, that I'm not even good at games. I occasionally have moments where I do okay, but overall I can't maintain a level of skill that leads to consistent enjoyment.

@LadyAstolat dang!! the part that matters is having fun. what class are you playing these days?

@vahnj WHM mostly. Tanking is too stressful, DPS queues are too long. ><

@LadyAstolat that's my class!!! whm is also probably only a little easier than astrologian. Scholar is a lot easier I've heard but they're also in a real bad place.

I'm not at endgame though :(

@vahnj I absolutely cannot stand Scholar (or summoner). Astro I like quite a bit as well, but I struggled to internalize what all the cards do and what jobs they are best used on.

@LadyAstolat yea, i studied astro a bit to play em and- it just didn't sound like fun bc of how complex it was >_<

WHM, however, is so satisfying to me

@LadyAstolat well anyway- if you enjoy the game enough to still play it, you're good at having fun :)

@vahnj It's fun enough most of the time, but I can't do any of the end game stuff. It takes me too long to learn encounters and no groups I've tried are willing to be patient enough to put up with that. So I end up frustrated and feeling like I'm missing out on stuff.

@LadyAstolat Did they do a good job of splitting the casual content from the hardcore content? I've not really been able to drive super deep into hardcore content, it takes too much time for me :/

How about deep dungeons? I found that really fun.

we only play once a week and our group to dedicate playtime to kind of fell through v_v
