I'm amused by how different artists have so completely different versions of the traditional song, "Hares on the Mountain." All the way from "happy drinking song in early spring" to "a song for travelling the woods" to "my beloved lies in the cold ground now" to "the King's troops have put down Wolfe Tone's rebellion with shot and sword."
All Them Witches' version - Hares On The Mountain https://youtu.be/fgaCs8cB-ko via @YouTube makes me think of Wolfe Tone's revolt, or possibly the Battle for Blair Mountain. A melancholy and violent end somewhere cold and mist-shrouded.
