It’s painful to admit that I’m old and have accomplished seemingly so little in my life, but with drawing especially, there are always lots of artists far better than me so by definition a lot of them will be younger, far younger than me.

@DrSagan how to explain this; when I’m in a good mood the way there are lots of better artists is a good thing. Yeah they’re great but I’m learning and like stuff I make often enough and it’s okay. It’s like being really small and insignificant in a forest or at the beach. When I’m in a bad space all the “you’re innately flawed, see here’s proof that you did all this and you’re still not great” really slams me. Which is less genuine, more learned. If that all makes sense.
