tonight, I tried to deal with the Sunday Feelings (and clean the fridge out some) by cooking three recipes from the Ottolenghi cookbook; eggplant with fried onion and lemon (not pictured) stuffed peppers (beef, I couldn't easily find ground lamb), panfried okra (supposed to use preserved lemon, but I zested the lemon for the eggplant)

the stuffed peppers are good, but took over an hour to make and an entire thing of vegetable broth to surround and cover them as per the recipe, so I think I'm not going to do them again except for special occasions.
