“Snow White and the Seven Samurai”
… in which Yukihime is spared by her wicked stepmother’s hatamoto, and flees into the forest where she enlists seven little men. As the Queen’s cavalry charge their barricade, our heroes inflict horrific casualties with tanegashima teppo, and the hatamoto executes the wicked Queen. Yet even as Snow White is victorious, she eats poisoned fruit sent by her stepmother, and the seven dwarves carry her off while singing about how everything is impermanent.
