Woke up in the middle of the night with mixed feelings about stuff and decided to do a *little* cleaning at least in case friends wound up at my apartment. That loud THUMP you heard was my motivation to clean up hitting the floor.
When I moved in, I didn't have bookshelves at all and Ikea was out of the taller ones - so my books are consistently this disorganized sprawl. Things have been a little too stressy to do much about it.
@Leucrotta I don't understand how Ikea can run out of book shelves. I also don't understand why they stopped making the particular color I was using and now I have at least 3 different finishes of Ikea bookshelves. (We've done our best to separate them into different rooms, but the dining room book shelf collection is a hot mess.)
And now we need the extension pieces for some and won't be able to match the color at all. #bookWorldProblems
@GraySpots In my case I was just looking for the cheapest variety and I figure that can't be an uncommon thought.
@Leucrotta That would be true. But it's happened to us before as well, and we usually get the larger ones. I think we have close to 20 of the Billy bookshelves and a handful of the Kallax.
And there are still piles of books everywhere.
