This is the first time ironically I’ve been assumed to be trans by people who don’t want good things for trans folk and, idk it feels like I hadn’t previously emotionally accepted how fucking murderous these people are. It’s like how there’s a difference in watching antisemitism and anti blackness unfold, and being directly on the receiving end. I feel like I owe all y’all an apology for not “getting it.”
I am not used to feeling so much “it’s either them or us” anger without the other side prominently displaying swastikas and confederate flags.
@Leucrotta if it's any consolation, most of them are probably not even really "feminists". my understanding is that it's pretty much fash in disguise at this point
@chimerror either way there's no negotiation, debate, compromise or education with these people. Even demonstrating that someone's willing to stand up to them publicly (what I wanted to do initially) is a waste of my time and energy.
These people aren’t the equivalent of conservatives who just go with whatever they’ve been told, and are a little bit scared of people who aren’t the familiar white faces; these people are the equivalent of Klansmen.
