Clarence Thomas opinion
@Leucrotta Basically, there was one court that seemed to actually take its job seriously and made some decisions that really shook things up, so the recent history has been really pretending that has always been the history of the Supreme Court while it slowly got taken back over by what it has tended to be in history: conservative assholes.
Clarence Thomas opinion
@Leucrotta Like the whole field of Constitutional law is squinting at a bunch of bullshit, trying to wrap it up in noble ideas when the truth is that the people actually on the court couldn't care less about any of that, they are just trying to force political change the way they can.
re: Clarence Thomas opinion
@chimerror And yet there will always be chucklefucks like Thomas, because the downside of everyone being basically the same is that greed is universal and there isn't a minority free of people who will gladly see us all go to the camps as long as they get a healthy tax break out of the deal.
And that's the thing with conservative double standards; if one of THEIR Master Race gets caught corrupt as fuck, then clearly it's due to notorious leftists like the FBI, or w/e, but as soon as anyone marginalized pulls the same shit, it's an excuse to point fingers and go "oh, isn't that just like a [slur]."
