so I *might* have a temp job, *definitely* have stuff in the fridge that needed using, and *might* have an overnight guest such that I want to make sure there's lots of TP, so I did a Safeway run, bought some reduced price fish which is a "use immediately," and since sweet and sour fish is robust and better after refrigeration, I made that and stir fried pea shoots with ginger etc. I'm happy the stir fry is restaurant quality, but wow, that was a lot of cooking, I'm done for a while
