I reiterate my experience;

average expression of prejudice comes from people not used to seeing or experiencing whatever marginalized group. Any and ALL expression of that identity is a therefore a little weird and scary, from Black hair to kissing men to full on angry backlash.

This is hopeful; most prejudice can be combated because being KINDA uncomfortable, not very uncomfortable, is part of how humans run into new stuff and adapt.

But TERFS aren't like most prejudiced people. They don't want you to tone down your Jewishness, they don't claim to love the sinner and hate the sin, they won't become tolerant once they get used to dark skin and kinky hair. It's like how the most German, Austrian and French folks out there suddenly discovered they were still Jews to the Nazis. You can never be woman enough for a TERF.

They want you DEAD, and that's all there is.
