Finally I am running into furries I like (so not people I'd happily never deal with again) using AI to make pictures for themselves (so doing the sort of personal-use thing it's SUPPOSED to do, but also taking business away from artists and there's still the art theft aspect).
I'm not sure how best to say "That's a great picture, I'm glad you have it, and I also think AI is unethical at every possible level, could you please not go there?"
@Leucrotta This is something difficult for me, as I have friends I don’t want to piss off, but I feel that the things they see as innocuous are harmful to me and people like me.
I wish it were easier to communicate that I understand where they’re coming from, but tacit endorsement of these things is still endorsement.
