@Leucrotta *barks back, tail wagging some!*

@topaz *yawns, tongue curling*
Very long day
@Leucrotta *yawns too,,*
oh mood! That was us yesterday. The day before? Oh yeah it was the day before yesterday. Today has been mostly chill for us, though.
@topaz Yesterday was rough - what I thought was going to be a longer term temp job canceled while I was en route to work, the landlords insisted that they were completely in the right to soak me for an additional $92.50 out of nowhere this month, and job hunting was frustrating. Today was quiet by comparison, but I did two interviews as well as the normal job hunt stuff.
@Leucrotta (*squints* oh hah that says "$92.50" I originally read "592.50" which would have been even WORSE,)
@topaz nope, this isn't "potentially a huge threat" but coming on top of the rent increase (what for? this place hasn't effectively changed!), LAST year's rent increase (I didn't entirely understand the need to actively renew the lease, so they wound up able to charge me for October at their monthly rate, which was ouchy), them needing access to peoples' apartments over the past few months, and me having to really prove I have apartment insurance, I'm really sick and tired of them.
@Leucrotta wow. Ugh. Wow. Fuck them.
and we thought our place back east having no way to cancel the lease was bad
@Leucrotta (also oop, sorry for late, didn't see the post at all! something's been screwy with our notifications lately.)
@topaz Most places will want you giving them money in year long chunks, so there's always a by-state minimum time to give notice (I missed this one when a lot younger) and they *might* have an early moveout fee. In theory this place is eh, only as bad as anything else in Seattle. In actuality every time I deal with these people I want to join a violent Marxist uprising.
@Leucrotta I... wow.
What the /fuck./
*offers hugs...*
