Dollar Tree haul! There's one next door to the laundromat, we went in for a snack, but came out with a snack plus all this.
(including the red pot holders; not including the big gray bag behind, that's our laundry bag)

@Leucrotta We ALMOST got an oven mitt too, for another $1.25, but didn't, figuring the pot holders'll be good.
holy fuck this is WAY cheaper than Target. I wonder how it compares qualitywise.
@Leucrotta Also I wonder how the economics of "nearly everything in the store is the same price" even works. I guess they subsidize the bigger items with more sales of the smaller items, candy and whatnot?
@Leucrotta Thanks! And uh... not recently, actually.
Mostly we've been using a plate as a pot lid for pasta and need something to pick it up with; we had exactly one pot holder up until now (from when we went to the restaurant supply store), which works fine, but it's always nice to have more. I think it was more of an issue when baking, yeah, because we'd need two to pick up with and a third to put the pan down on. Ended up just using a bunch of paper towels.
We should get back into baking, especially now that the ants are gone!... lack of spoons doesn't help, though.
