About the situation I don't usually feel comfortable talking about;
I'd gotten the impression that because I support a "two state solution" that makes me incredibly right leaning by comparison to what's usually very left leaning politics. I think I should be up front about this and if people want to block me, at least that way I'm being honest.

@CoyoteTraveller the impression I’d gotten from online, from friends and my participation in protesting the Iraq war was that the *correct* left wing line was Israel was an illegitimate terrorist ethnostate etc etc which needs to be completely destroyed, that only Israel was responsible for keeping the conflict going, and no deviation from that view was acceptable.
@Leucrotta Not that we're involved at all, but a two-state solution sounds reasonable to me? Definitely not an "OMG you're EVIL" thing. Or even an "OMG right-wing" (intellectually it makes sense now that you mention it, but I wouldn't've thought of it).
So yeah, you're safe with us at least.
