@Leucrotta I often joke about wanting to built my gender out of the discarded scraps others leave behind, but this is new to me, and if I accidentally poked something sensitive I'm sorry and open to deleting it if you'd like.

@LexYeen Nope, the rant was thanks mostly to this thing elsewhere about "okay, you say trans people are safe with you, but do you actually mean all trans folks or just some officially okay variety?" Currently feeling very much that gender is so completely artificial, you could define me as whatever gender without needing to change anything about my penis, androgens, body hair I fucking hate, dress preferences etc.
Otherwise today's been so good I'm pondering a half-edible.
@LexYeen you know, given that this comment came through RIGHT in the middle of me writing a pissy rant about a completely other person, "take the half edible" sounds better and better.
@Leucrotta I often find catharsis in writing out things that the target will never read, if only because that lets me sort my thoughts out. Ctrl-Home and Backspace are very good to me. 
@LexYeen writing out stuff and deleting it does help, but what *should* be days worth of feeling better from doing that has of late become hours if I'm lucky. Bleaaagh!
@Leucrotta Considering everything, I figured I'd check - no tellin' how words without tone of voice or body language might land. And yeah, gender is such a fabricated concept and takes so *fucking* much energy when there's so many other things in the world to fight with that energy, I *totally* grok those feelings about it.
I say take that half-edible. It's Friday, after all. 💚
