Okay, question; if you're using Mastodon on your phone, what client do you recommend? I WAS using Amaroq and then my copy conked out.

@Leucrotta We use a combination of the web UI and Tusky. Only reason we use Tusky is for the multiaccount, since Android Firefox doesn't have cookie containers.

...Amaroq is iOS, right? I think a lot of the iOS stuff tends to be paid...

@frost @Leucrotta Back when we were on iOS was also when we couldn't install apps (it would have had to have been approved by our parents and uh... closets 🙃).

But we've heard good things about Ice Cubes.

@frost @Leucrotta Also the web UI works great on mobile, you may or may not actually need an app.

@Leucrotta What OS? On iOS/iPadOS, Toot!'s still good, but not currently under development. Feditext takes up where Metatext left off, and includes styled text support; available via Testflight from the devs. Many others, some free, some paid - Ice Cubes, Mammoth, Trunks.. and even the web UI works well.

@Leucrotta I'm using Metatext, but I don't really do much on my phone - just respond to mentions and the like.

@Leucrotta I loved Amaroq but it's not being supported anymore; I moved to Phanpy.
