re: rambles, long
@frost That's a ton of things to go do all in a row! I am so glad you've been enjoying Koreana Plaza.

bike stuff
@Leucrotta I do not like riding on the roads, at night
with every car that gets behind us ALWAYS passing us regardless of whether there's oncoming traffic
no there are no bike lanes
people always talk about how motorcycles are Ooo Scary Dangerous, but we'd be /infinitely/ safer on one.
bike stuff
@Leucrotta (well, there's actually a really nice protected bike path along the big highway road. That goes away the instant we turn into our "neighborhood" though. Less a neighborhood and more a bunch of industrial places, and train tracks...)
rambles, long
@Leucrotta :3 ! 🧡
we're on our way home

started on our bike, to cut out the walk or bus leg of 19th St. Station => Koreana Plaza!
But after the ride from home to our home BART utterly wiped us... yeah um, that's not happening.
So we ditched the bike at 19th St. At KP we got tea and some Japanese snacky stuff.
Bused up to MacArthur (our transfer point was 1 block from the BART), waited ages for the 57 to show up, it didn't come. I walk to the BART's corner to hop on the Emeryville shuttle bus, but we miss it – and then the 57 shows up!
Had dinner at Ikea. Got a cookie jar, USB cable, batteries. Miscellaneous stuff.
Saw a $32 lamp I kinda want,,, but money
We were going to go to Target after Ikea, but that's not happening either.
Grabbed our bike at 19th St. station and now we're on the train home
then we'll have to ride back...
