I really like the dance aspect of furry cons and said I'd love it if Pantheacon had something similar.
Then I had to explain to housemate that raves basically *are* sacred actions, a communal act of creating and sharing energy through music and movement; creating and sharing that energy helps us acknowledge the divinity in each other.

Housemate suggested "hire a DJ, play trancier stuff, pitch it as techno shamanism." I'm tempted, yeah, but it'd be a lot of effort just to get PCon - which can be weirdly stodgy sometimes - to include flashing lights and bleepy dance music.
