Not certain it's a popular opinion, but I use magick vs magic to describe the work with spirits, energies, archetypes, thoughtforms, daemons, etc (pick your paradigm) I do, because I view the latter term to describe the performative art of illusion/deception- the two of course intersect, but magic to me is of the stage variety/audiencework
