everyone at my work (investment company) is low key just staring in horror at the people who are saying we need to reopen the economy right now because we're like, this is a downturn but it will recover over a long term?? like every other fucking market crash?? we don't need short term gains paid for with people's deaths!?

People really need to hear that the few people proposing slaughtering their parents and grandparents for another brief blip in an index, are not representative of millions of Americans who feel the same.
They aren't even representative of their own *employees*.
People need to hear that even in their own industries, the rich evil fuckers promoting eugenics ARE HORRIFYING.
We have to denormalize this right now.

@Momentrabbit tbh even the C-level execs and people at this company who run the board are just not... we can't comprehend how disgustingly short sighted and cold people are
but maybe that's why we're a small company and they're people in bed with massive ones who have no sense of respect for humanity :^)
