The longer time goes on, the more I feel that I should stop using Discord. It makes me feel more like I'm missing things rather than being a part of them because I'm not on the same time schedule/free-time schedule/availability schedule than everyone else seems to be.

It's great to see folks having fun, but not so great to only watch and never be a part of it.

The nice thing about Telegram (beyond the problems requiring a burner phone for privacy) is it doesn't hammer you with how much goes on when you aren't able to be there. It does asynchronus better.
