What happens if you don't do the rituals right?

The tip of the tool will get glowing hot and melt it's way through your workpiece before breaking off in it. Stainless doesn't forgive.

And then when you're Done, you have to take all the serrated, work hardened, razor sharp burrs off the edges. By hand.
