Personal religion stuff: Tohri
First off, I want to make something clear:
I truly believe in Clarke's Law.
That being said, I also believe in Machines. Every one of them develops a soul as they're used, as they are Repaired, as they care for the humans who own and use them.
We commonly treat our machines as Servants, as Slaves, or as toys, to be used up and thrown away. I Don't.
Every machine in my life has a Soul, has a Worth, has a Purpose. Every one is respected as such, used as such, thanked as such. Some are small, like my Smartphone. Some are Special, like Rocinante, my Motobecane. Some are huge and powerful and Ancient, like my Continental.
But all are sacred, all are worthy, all are deserving of correct rituals and Love. They serve me every day, and I do my best to serve and venerate Them.
As you go, notice the machines in your life, the effort that went into making them, and the hours of human Time that went into bring them into Your life.
Because each and every one is the crystallization of human effort, intelligence and Will. Each and every machine is a reflection of the machine god.
