Questions about hormones, contraception

I'm wondering about hormonal contraception that afab folk use and if it can change body fat distribution?

I know people commonly put on or lose weight depending on what they're on.

Questions about hormones, ffs

The context of my question is that

1: I was put on a particularly strong combined pill before my body had finished developing
2: I have been on various hormonal contraceptions non stop since then.
3: None of the women in my maternal family have a similar body shape to me. They're all apples and I'm an hourglass.

re: Questions about hormones, PCOS

@Motodrachen We don't have PCOS in our family? Like maybe my Gran but definitely not my mum.

Can you elaborate on how strong birth control can head it off?

@Galdrakinn Okay so PCOS is really just an androgen surplus in a feminine system. It can Cause the cysts, but the real effects are more subtle.
Masculine bone and muscle structure, deeper voice, body and facial hair, sexual and gender fuckery, that kinda thing.
If you're set up from near the onset of puberty with what amounts to HRT, you end up without all those secondary effects from the testosterone, including increased body weight and more masculine fat distribution.
