love too feel alienated as hell from a lot of leftists citing [x autistic trait] as a reason somebody is bad or “mentally questionable” or some shit, rather than the terrible things they’ve done and said
or shit like “if you dont do [x thing incredibly hindered by autistic trait] you’re a bad/fake leftist and/or harming any progress”

Like, people can still do shit to help leftist causes, just cause its different than things neurotypicals may do doesnt mean it doesnt still help??
Neurodivergent people have an incredible amount of reason to want a socialist/communist/anarchist future and just getting thrown out when its an easy jab at a shitty person or when they cant do the same stuff as neurotypicals fucking sucks

@addi I think it's more an indictment of how many autistic folks are on the Alt-Right side because they've been systematically alienated from their own neuro-atypicality?
Like, Autistic guys who are angry and alienated from society and Can't accept their condition because they've been taught to associate it with something you get Beat on for having...
Because usually when folks get upset over autistic traits, they're getting Triggered by the memory of the last times they'd had to deal with that behavior.
And uh... At Least as many of us autistic folks are working for HYDRA. And they don't feel the need to ever know themselves enough to correct their more problematic behaviors.
We're all Trying over here. And that marks the difference.

@Motodrachen or people saying that if you dont talk and organize with your neighbors that you’re a bad leftist, when for me and many others, talking to somebody who i dont know like that, even if friendly, has a very much nonzero chance to make me just, completely shut down and panic, or not being able to attend many protests due to completely shutting down and panicking due to loud noise 2/2

@Motodrachen yes, it is, and people acting like anybody who cant do those kind of things are bad or fake leftists is, kind of what i was talking about with this post, it completely disregards the needs of so many neurodivergent people and makes so many feel alienated in the spaces that are supposed to be for making these things better

i meant, moreso, like, seeing people talk about like, biden being “mentally unfit” from stumbling over words when i can look back at the most of my life ive spent working to get to being able to talk as coherently as i do now, and not paying attention to the terrible things he’s actually saying, 1/2
