I use "straight" to mean "Not Queer" which makes me real fucking uncomfortable when I encounter trans people who consider themselves "straight" as I would absolutely consider trans to be "queer"

And I know I've ranted about how the "straights" tend to count their number in the past. I still refuse to believe in a median "straight" person's eyes *any* trans person is straight regardless of who they're attracted to.

And I think I've decided at some point I'm dying on this hill.

My "I will never consider any metric of queer that includes dudes who like to fuck any number of exclusively cisgirls in any number of ways as valid" stance kinda brings the inverse with it too, I guess.

I can't consider anyone who isn't cishet to be straight without some serious cognitive dissonance.

@IrisKalmia My wife and I are both intersex, but nominally "Straight".
I was raised like a Girl, even though I'm AMAB and she was raised like a Boy.

This creates some paradoxes, as you can imagine. Now, we don't Consider ourselves Cis/het, but we certainly look that way under a certain light.

The cherry on top is that we're Poly, very open, and don't have any friends who aren't Queer. So it's Hard to find someone who's gender matches your own.

@Motodrachen You've covered a few vectors in which I personally wouldn't consider you straight. If you consider yourselves that I can keep that in mind for you two.

@Motodrachen You're both intersex and I know you personally talk a fair bit about being genderqueer and how that [interacts with/stems from?] your plurality.
