Doctor said they feel like I'm definitely somewhere on the autistic spectrum, but going so far as to diagnose autism or even Asperger's would be "exaggerating" how intense it was. That seems... a little contradictory? I'm wondering how common of an experience this is for neurodivergent people who have learned coping strategies to function in day-to-day life.
