@Forgebold Don't know if it's applicable, but I had a bad tooth pulled, and it was scary, but in a sort of "we're doing this, this problem is getting addressed right now" kind of way, and though the pain, the instant that thing was gone, there was so much relief. It was like breathing fresh air for the first time after being locked in a submarine for a month.
Hope your experience is at least as positive!
@Forgebold Oh yeah, still lots of pain before and after, it wasn't a unicorn kiss, it was just the satisfying feeling it was all downhill smooth sailing from here. Downhill sailing. Sorry I'm tired. And now want to go kiss a unicorn.
@Mycroft Yeah I sorta had the feeling you meant that, thus the whole 'not sure' bit from the last toot, heheh. An unicorn kiss would no doubt feel lovely, and thanks for the goodwill~
@Mycroft Probably sorta applicable? I've been numbed down on pain meds for like two months at this point and I'm doubling my dose post-surgery so I'm not sure if 'instant relief' applies here. However I'm already feeling sort of relieved that the wait is almost over, considering I had the procedure delayed on me by three weeks before.
