@softgoat@computerfairi.es They do both need to be the same type of RAM, though; you can't mix DDR3 and DDR4, or DDR3 and DDR2 if you get a very old laptop.

Don't worry about DIMM versus SODIMM; if it's a laptop it'll be SODIMM.
