Adding a little pesto to almost anything vaguely Italian improves it. Pasta and pizza are obvious, but it's also a great addition to a ham and salami sandwich.
Well, salami and cheese and pesto, at least. And I added some black pepper too, because despite being labelled genoa salami, this salami has no pepper in it.
