@cozykaffe@snouts.online There are bad reasons to want independence, too, though. As we understand it, the breakup of yugoslavia was motivated in large part by racism, for instance. Same thing with the american civil war when the south tried to become its own country, and thankfully failed.
I don't think it's a good idea to just support every independence movement without regard to the reasoning behind it.
