Sometimes I wonder about trying to get people to come to Canada though.
Like, last fed election, the Liberals (centrists) beat the Conservatives (conservatives) by basically promising the leftier voters that they'd do a few things they liked if they consolidated against cons
They didn't really do that, and I'm not sure if they can pull that off again. I don't have any faith in a conservative federal government not to be absolute shitholes, having seen what the provincials are already doing in Ontario.
I mean, we at least have protections signed into law for now, and it's definitely still a better option than the US in the short term.
But like, seeing how almost every single Liberal voter in ON flipped conservative when the Liberals folded is... not inspiring.
