The whole "Delta Rune uninstaller might accidentally delete files" thing just reminds me how much a lot of small indie stuff is basically, "here's a .exe file that you have downloaded from me, an anonymous individual, just go ahead and run that"
If I were more interested in downloading and trying out a lot of the really small, super niche, mega-indie stuff off like, itch or direct from a person, I'd almost want an entire other computer to do it?
(Desktop sandboxing & compartmentalisation baked into the OS when?)
Especially when it's like "this might trip your AV, but that's fine, just go ahead and allow that"
Like, okay, I know Toby isn't malicious, but I'd have a lot of reservations if it was anyone else. And that's like, sort of a problem?
