Stopping here for today, no sense in going into a fugue state and finishing the whole thing today.
Iesu Christos. I fucked up on two tiny pieces earlier and the top and bottom sections wouldn't lock together. It took me several minutes of careful examination to find the spot I went wrong.
Stage 4 complete. I'm very very impressed by all the little intricate bits of detail you can't see anymore because there's plates on top of it now.
Stage 6 start! This probably isn't going to be exactly the same build, I notice some slightly different parts here...
Stage 6 complete! Be really careful with it at this point, the engines aren't attached super solidly yet. I think I see how they'll be attached more fully later...
Stage 7 over, and it's a super cool piece that includes a locking pin to keep it in place. Wow.
Stage 9 complete! And the decal for the arch of the cockpit is slightly too short. Why.
Stage 10 complete! We're almost done here, now it's up on the stand and ready for the underside fins and the side guns.
God damn, this thing is cool.
Stage 8 complete! Here's what I meant about the locking pin....
