> tells you to do and instead just mess around all by yourself since there's no way you'll ever get to properly explore the world in front of you otherwise, only even more so than in Skyrim itself
couple that with the fact you don't really get to be -you- in the game unless you just so happen to fit in the (hilariously narrow vision) of what CDPR thinks you'd want to be and you get a game that kinda misses the core audience of the tabletop game in favor of Gamers™

@Thaminga Once you're doing, like, emotional labor trying to be enthusiastic about a game, it's time to cut the line.

@Thaminga I haven't seen the gameplay demo yet, but given the state of the mod tools for Witcher 3, I don't think it would be that easy for someone to create the missing options for player characters.
Skyrim offers a lot more freaking choices, only bolstered by character appearance mods and the absolutely essential Racemenu. Still, I don't want others to have to do the representation CDPR can't be arsed to make.
This sucks, man. This sucks.

@Thaminga Keep in mind that I love(d) CD Projekt for what they did, especially for GOG. It really pains me to still want to love this game, even though all impressions are leading to one big bungle

Yeah, I'll stuck to the Shadowrun games... they have their flaws, but they at least embraced dystopian topics and let you have some personal alterations.
