Watching Hasan Piker play through Detroit: Become Human, aside from the liberal bullshit and David Cage being a huge ass, I actually like the game way more than I expected???
I like the weird robot things, I like the cheezy cop drama bits (ACAB), I actually like all of the main characters in this and thought their writing and acting was at least pretty decent?
It seems like Quantic Dream's most coherent game
I also really like the interface and how they visualise action trees to you. I wasnt sure about this at first but I really like it from seeing it.
Oh, I'm seeing one of the endings now. Wow, the politics of this game are terrible.
@dzuk Yeah, it... really is a game with tons of potential that didn't make the mark in the end because of David Cage. Good aesthetics, plenty of good moments where the actors are clearly having fun among themselves, even good gameplay if you're looking for a relatively relaxing, story-focused experience... but then the actual plot itself and the implications of the worldbuilding. 😬
