Since they're calling us out and stuff, here's the lowdown on the situation:

1. User c1@mastodon.social joins and makes some folks uncomfortable, myself included. A lot of people I know blocked them.
2. User joins as a@awoo.space to ask me why I blocked them. I told them they made me uncomfortable but that they were welcome to awoo.space as long they minded their behavior.
3. User harasses folks and I hear about it. I tell them their behavior is a problem & they ask me to suspend them. I do.

4. User complains they were suspended, even after asking me to be suspended. I tell them I'm willing to let them come back as long as they mind their manners and don't call people names like they did.
5. User comes back as c2@awoo.space and begins skirting the line of unfriendliness and trolling, and I hold off a looooong time on speaking to them because of this.
6. c2 calls my mod some nasty things and I give them a warning.
7. My mod points out their harassment of others on Masto & I ban them

8. Their posts were deleted, so I am going off the word of my moderator. However, there are breadcrumbs found in the responses to this person that are damning enough to warrant the ban.
9. I have since found out the person they harassed led Mastodon. I wish I had known sooner so this could have been prevented.

Hopefully this helps clear up the timeline of the user, and how long this user has been a problem to the community. They are no longer welcome here.

@vahnj If I had coffee right now (inadvisable at 8:30PM) my reaction would be this right now:
