@Veladynee @Kilroy I dunno, “I’m better than that *now*, I paid my dues” is not an uncommon attitude, so having had a background in the same kind of work doesn’t immunize people from a bad attitude about others.
I guess it’s an attitude that people who have less deserve to feel lesser, there’s a hierarchy and people who want better treatment have to work for it. I think everyone should be encouraged to be the best themselves they can be, and compassion and acceptance are very important.
