made a post on nextdoor like "hey how safe is (my town) for trans women, i want to get some opinions because my friend is moving up and is worried"
some guy's like "IS THAT HER ENTIRE PERSONALITY"
just replied "well she's got hobbies, but nobody goes around harassing people for being way into knitting, so it didn't seem relevant to the post"
i've officially built up enough karen energy to stop giving a shit what suburban white dudes think anymore
@kat if you really want to hit them hard, insult their lawn
@k i shit you not there's a post about "someone drove 3 feet onto my lawn to get around a guy parked in the road, help my identify his car on my security cam" and there's like 50 replies from white people like "my thoughts and prayers for your lawn in this trying time, this man should go to jail, what if your lawn had a kid on it and he murdered the kid"
@kat the lawn is their kid
@k dude's like "why didn't he turn around and drive 2 miles to take another route instead of cutting onto my lawn" and it's like dude maybe someone's having a baby or he had taco bell or something, your grass will live
@k PS this is the same neighborhood with the guy posting about how emotionally traumatized he is that someone stole his american flag from his lawn
i don't know how suburban white dudes even function
@kat they don't. They've been conditioned to base their entire self around external things that are fundamentally fragile, a conditioning that is useful for controlling them but results in great harm when it breaks down.
...that got too heavy, sorry
