I'm heavily debating getting an iPad Pro / Apple Pencil combo so I can find a way to get more work done without being so chained to my workstation, but I feel guilty spending the money and I'm scared that it will be the same as my surface where eventually I won't like it

This is like, half me wanting to do more art and half me wanting to sock away extra money and create a sense of financial security for myself that's independent of my job

@tfproxy the surface I have is a surface pro 2, which is hard because the screen is a really awkward size (versus the iPad's more square screen), which I thought wouldn't bother me but I kind of hate it. It's missing a lot of functionality I would want, like a good touch native illo program (I'm using clip studio but it's nerfed without keyboard shortcuts). I've waffled a lot on whether it's good or whether it sucks.

@tfproxy I'm on a Mac laptop so getting files back and forth would just be a matter of air drop, which is super simple. But yeah; I hate Windows. I've been on macs as my primary machine since 2004 and every time I have to switch back to PC it feels clunky and bad. Macs aren't perfect but they're better for me in terms of prioritizing the functionality I want.

@angrboda I'm glad kitten remix is done because finishing it was a bear. It's not really feasible for me to go home, eat dinner, and then be able to have the night to myself to get work done more than once in a blue moon
