needs more gelatin in the base, otherwise even better than the Beaujolais gummies the other night

I’m not sure why I’m so proud of being able to bloom gelatin, whisk it on low heat, pull out some flavoring and texture agents and drop it into a candy mold, but I am pretty proud of making my own passably-nutritious chew toys instead of living off of Sour Patch Kids

I remain on the edge about coffee gummies, in large part because my palate expects fruit or “fruit” (wine counts as fruit) from this texture, in small part because I might vibrate through time if I make them and they taste good
