@kamiten no problem! Glad to pool knowledge. Looks like there’s only so high a thread count you want before breathing becomes an issue, which is augh and probably individual

@casta Grea,t now I'm thinking about sneaking into a Bed Bath and Beyond to huff on various thread count bedding to make sure I can breath lol~
I think it should be fine though? I read one article that recommended 600-count pillowcases for masks, which sounds unobtainable outside expensive bedding anyway.

@kamiten oh geez, that seems excessive. IDK what shops you have available to you, but if you have access to a regional job lot chain you might be able to get your hands on that grade of cotton for less than usual. If you use a filter pocket you probably don’t need to go hardcore like that
some folks are like “use flannel!!” and I’m all “SUMMER IS COMING”
Mask making, Covid
@casta oh yeah, I can think of a few places to look now that you mention it. Big Lots, Ocean State Job Lots, etc. Good idea.
Yeah summer is going to be a lot of fun. @_@;;

@kamiten Ocean State is an excellent resource for this! And a Target flat sheet from the Threshold section is minimum 300 tc and like $10 fwiw
summer aaauuuuugh ;_____;
