Really cool to see someone’s come up with, formalised and run with the same idea I had last year of transcluding JSX in Markdown! We even came up with the same file extension, haha! https://github.com/mdx-js/mdx
mdxjs also fixes a lot of the edge cases I ended up with in Markdown Component Loader by being fully AST-based, rather than a series of text transformations, which was something I’d hoped to implement myself but didn’t have time (or perhaps the expertise) to build! Cool stuff!
it’s a little funny seeing the same ideas I had in early 2017 be responded to in another context as “totally brilliant” and “incredible,” I guess I’ll have to accept those compliments too 😘
